First Impressions
My first impression of the pillow was how big it was! The larger pillow size makes it much more supportive than I have seen with other brands - it prevents your arms from getting sore and helps keep baby secure as well. You can easily take the cover off to wash it which is a great option to have. It’s a comfortable cushion with a nice material, and a great big size to work with. It also comes with the cutest cloud print. The pillow does take some time to fluff up since it arrives vacuum-sealed, so make sure to take that into consideration before using it.
Functionality
The pillow was a simple design that supports different nursing positions, and also supports the baby in a good position. It keeps the baby comfortably close, and the pillow’s design ensures that baby can’t fall or roll away. The easy-release buckle to quietly and quickly remove is a nice feature and it offers great support when burping the baby as well. You can use the pillow not just for nursing, but also for bottle feeding, supporting baby during tummy time, as a back pillow for extra support, or even to lay down and take a quick nap while baby is sleeping! It’s also a great tool for helping other people hold the baby if they need help or instruction on how to support the baby’s head safely.
Comfort & Ease of Use
This pillow is super easy to use and very comfortable. It provides great support which means that long feeding sessions don’t become uncomfortable. This pillow helps so much when it comes to your neck, shoulders, and arms! It props you up and makes a huge difference, and I felt less sore after using it. It keeps mom and baby in a comfortable position. It’s much easier to sit up with a straight back when feeding, although the pillow doesn’t offer much back support if you use it to support baby while feeding. I also appreciated that this pillow makes it possible to hold baby with one hand meaning you can handle another task or better handle a bottle.
Final Thoughts
This is a great nursing pillow option that is better than most other brands. It has a great price point and design. Easy to clean and you can use it in several different ways than just feeding the baby. It provides good support for mom and baby and is a great gift to new or expecting moms. It would be even better if it had a bottle pocket to hold a baby bottle or water bottle, and a back support for mom could be a great addition to the product. But overall, it is an excellent option for a nursing pillow.
